What is the difference in the types of credit cards, such as platinum, gold, silver,classic, etc..? - types of credit cards
I currently have credit cards, some of which are platinum, some seemingly regular basis, and a gold medal. What is the real difference between the interest rates, if at all?

A little more than a status symbol. On the credit card companies, what they do ... a means to impose higher tariffs for so-called premium cards.
It's more a question of ego than anything else. There is little that we assume that only read the fine print and know what is best for you.
